V.      WORD PROBLEM                                                                        

1.     Find forty two lakh eighty thousand three hundred ninety seven multiplied by eighteen.

2.     Mr. Ram bought a house for Rs. 63, 43,200. He spent Rs. 35, 46,300 in

repairing it. If he then sold the house for Rs 99, 99,900, did he loose or

gain? How much?
